Fruit for Thought

Do you do at least 5 of these every day?

- Get up before the Sun does

- Make your bed

- Exercise

- Pray or meditate

- Drink water

- Practice a skill

- Read a book

- Plan your time

If you do, then you have been on quite the journey. One that others might not understand or even consider its reward. If you don't do any of the above, then you are probably reading to learn how you can become better. There are many things out there that can help you become "better" but first of all, you should consider the journey to within yourself. It might sound cheesy but to become what you are capable of, you must throw away the notion of being normal. There is no such thing. No two people with the same life. No two moments the same as one another. You have those that do, and those that don't. You have good and you have evil. Fire, and water. Yin and Yang.  If you observe the people around you, you can already tell who falls into what category. Who moves forward. Who sits still and lets it all pass by. Who betters others, and who is in it for themselves.

Though you cannot control others, you can influence. You can teach, mentor, and build. To be able to do any of that, you must have a clear understanding of yourself. How do you do that? You must teach, mentor and build yourself, and in that journey, you will do so for others. The idea is to build self discipline, that will support all of your other goals. Once you accomplish this, you will notice that others might see your accomplishments and then 1 of 2 things will happen. You will be ridiculed by those without discipline, as they mock what they themselves cannot accomplish, and you will be followed, praised and invested in by those that understand and are on the same path. Be careful because this stage can lead to corruption if you fall from discipline and keeping to your morals. The simple list above is a great start. Create the routine, build strong good habits that you follow no matter the time, day or how you feel. Then you can add other tasks, goals and directions that will be easy to add into your cycle. This is how you improve. This is growth.

There is much more to say on this but it all starts with the journey. The rest is on your Discipline.
